My favorite part of Pendo is the Pendo guides system. There are so many capabilities and ways to manipulate it to provide some incredible tutorials to the user and beyond. My favorite feature is the ability to upload my own image as a tooltip. Tooltips in general can be very helpful to convey something hard to explain in only a few words and Pendo makes it easy to create and update. But you can use Pendo guides for polls, announcements, warnings of feature outages, recruiting for user interviews, and beyond. And adding all that with the ability to segment down to specific users really makes Pendo Guides my favorite part of Pendo's capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would love more customization on when Pendo guides show up. I consider it a terrible user experience for a user to start up a software and immediately get notified about a feature or get an NPS survey or whatever else the product team would like the user to know. If I could delay a Pendo guide so that users get it five minutes or half hour into their user session, that would be amazing.
I would also love better Pendo guide organization, a folder structure would be great when dealing with hundreds of guides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
