We chose PDFGate because it was just as performant as our in-house implementation, but it removed the headache of maintenance and upkeep for yet another service in our infrastructure.

Their API was easy to integrate with, literally a single post request. Documentation on the site was to the point, with plenty of examples and guidance for your language of choice.
