This versatile software integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, allowing users to capture print output from applications such as Word, Excel, web browsers, and ERP systems. By converting this output into consistently formatted documents, PDFCreator supports multiple file formats, including PDF, JPG, PNG, and TIF. It is suitable for both individual workstations and centralized, IT-managed environments, making it adaptable to a range of organizational needs. Key features of PDFCreator include automated document creation with rules-based file naming, routing, and delivery, which significantly enhances efficiency. ### 1. Virtual Print Queue Workflow Makes PDF Merging Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Birendra C. | Production admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about PDFCreator?**

The best thing about it is the workflow. It’s almost like having a virtual printer with a print-job queue, or a way to defer PDF assembly until you’re ready.

Most PDF programs work like this: Document → Print to PDF → Save PDF immediately. That means every print job becomes its own separate PDF file, so if you have 10 reports you end up with 10 PDFs that you first need to save individually to drive and then have to merge later.

PDFCreator works differently:
Document A → Print → Queue
Document B → Print → Queue
Document C → Print → Queue
⬇
Review, reorder, merge
⬇
Save one final PDF and bob's your uncle.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

**What do you dislike about PDFCreator?**

The print queue feature is powerful, but it can also be a bit confusing at times. If you forget that jobs are still sitting in the queue, you may end up wondering, “Where did my PDF go?” Also, i sometimes accidentally merge items i didn’t mean to merge.

**What problems is PDFCreator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes my invoicing tasks easier. I use Lisec software at work to manage our glass orders. For me, it’s much simpler to send multiple invoices to the PDF creator and have them merged when they’re for the same customer. After that, it’s also easier to email them directly from the PDF creator using the email function.

**Official Response from Alyona Lutsenko:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of PDFCreator!

We're delighted to hear that the print queue workflow has made such a positive impact on your invoicing process. The ability to queue, review, reorder, and merge multiple print jobs before creating a single PDF is one of PDFCreator's most valued features, especially for businesses that regularly process invoices, reports, purchase orders, or other multi-document workflows.

We understand that new users can occasionally forget that print jobs remain in the queue or accidentally merge documents they intended to keep separate. Feedback like yours is invaluable, and we're continuously looking for ways to make the workflow more intuitive while preserving the flexibility that many business users rely on.

Thank you again for choosing PDFCreator and for highlighting how it simplifies your daily workflow. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to help make PDF creation, merging, and document management even more efficient for your business.

Best Regards!

  ### 2. Easy PDF creation, customization, and file combining.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about PDFCreator?**

What I like best about PDFCreator is how simple and efficient it makes creating and managing PDFs. It’s easy to use, integrates smoothly with other applications, and allows me to quickly convert documents into a consistent format without extra steps. I also appreciate the ability to combine multiple files, apply basic security settings, and customize output as needed and it really helps streamline my workflow and keeps everything organized.

**What do you dislike about PDFCreator?**

What I dislike about PDFCreator is that it can feel a bit clunky at times, especially when navigating through multiple settings or options. The interface isn’t always as intuitive as it could be, which can slow me down when I’m trying to work quickly.

**What problems is PDFCreator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PDFCreator solves the problem of easily converting and consolidating documents into a standardized PDF format. It allows me to take files from different sources—like Excel, Word, or email attachments—and quickly turn them into one clean, shareable document.
This benefits me by saving time and reducing manual work, especially when I need to combine multiple documents or ensure everything is in a consistent format for reporting or record keeping. It also helps me stay organized and ensures the files I share look professional and are easy for others to access and review.

**Official Response from Mariia Kurbatova:**

> Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback! We're happy PDFCreator helps simplify document conversion, file consolidation, and PDF management, making it easier to maintain consistent, professional-looking documents while reducing manual effort.
Your feedback regarding the interface and navigation is valuable to us and will be forwarded to the corresponding team. We understand that moving through settings should be as efficient as the core PDF tools themselves, and insights like yours help guide future improvements. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

  ### 3. Automated PDF creation: Virtual printers, profiles, and tokens save a lot of writing work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about PDFCreator?**

The availability of multiple virtual printers with individual profiles is a great relief. Through the actions stored in the profiles, we can largely automate PDF creation and output it in a uniform format. The user tokens help us assign defined file names and also pre-fill email recipients, subject, and text directly. This saves us a lot of repetitive writing work. PDFCreator itself runs in the background. User intervention is not necessary.

**What do you dislike about PDFCreator?**

The constant reference to PDF Architect and the partially parallel installation was exhausting, but as far as I know, it has been resolved.

**What problems is PDFCreator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to largely automate PDF creation from software that does not offer PDF creation itself. This way, our letterhead is automatically added in the print, a watermark is inserted, and the PDF is protected. Through user tokens, the PDFs always have uniform file names.

**Official Response from Alyona Lutsenko:**

> Thank you for sharing such a detailed review of PDFCreator!

We're delighted to hear that the multiple virtual printers and customizable profiles have helped automate your PDF workflows. Features such as profile-based actions, user tokens, automatic file naming, email pre-filling, watermarking, password protection, and standardized document output are designed to help businesses save time, reduce manual work, and maintain consistent document quality.
We understand how important a streamlined installation process is, and we're pleased that you've noticed improvements in this area. Feedback like yours has been invaluable in helping us refine the user experience.

Thank you again for choosing PDFCreato. We truly appreciate your support and remain committed to making PDFCreator an even more powerful and reliable solution for business document automation.

Best Regards,
PDFCreator Team

  ### 4. Flexible and versatile: Create, edit, and send documents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Vertriebsleiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about PDFCreator?**

I appreciate the flexibility of the software and the countless possibilities to create, edit, and send documents.

**What do you dislike about PDFCreator?**

Many options are not well explained and had to be learned through trial and error. In general, creating a new profile could be done in a simplified interview mode – a kind of assistant that helps step by step in creating new profiles.

**What problems is PDFCreator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, it solves the creation of multi-page PDF documents with the flexibility of a physical printer and additionally offers the option to send finished documents directly via email.

**Official Response from Mariia Kurbatova:**

> Hi David,
Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to hear that the flexibility and range of document management capabilities of PDFCreator have been valuable to you and enhanced your experience.
Your suggestion regarding clearer guidance and a more streamlined profile creation process is appreciated. We will pass your suggestions along to the appropriate team for consideration as we continue to improve the user experience. Thank you for taking the time to share your insights.

  ### 5. Easy to use – flawless PDFs and sending by mail without saving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian S. | Kaufmann, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about PDFCreator?**

It is easy to use and the created PDF is flawless. Sending by email, even without saving the PDF locally, is a really great thing.

**What do you dislike about PDFCreator?**

The automatic installation of PDF-Architect and Images2PDF during the installation or upgrade of PDFCreator is very annoying if you don't use these tools. Actively check the setup settings.

**What problems is PDFCreator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The PDFs have an appropriate name and can be sent by email without intermediate saving. The conversion is pleasantly fast.

**Official Response from Alyona Lutsenko:**

> Thank you for your review, Florian!

It's always encouraging to hear when the features people rely on every day are the ones making the biggest difference. Being able to create a PDF, automatically assign the correct file name, and send it by email without first saving it locally is exactly the kind of workflow that can save time over hundreds of documents.

We also appreciate you pointing out your experience with the installation process. We understand that users who only need PDFCreator don't necessarily want additional software installed alongside it.

Thank you again for sharing both the positives and the areas where we can improve. Feedback like yours helps us continue making PDFCreator a fast, reliable solution for PDF creation, document automation, and efficient everyday workflows.

  ### 6. Automated Profiles in PDF Creator Are a Game Changer for Terminal Server Filing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominic B. | Head of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about PDFCreator?**

We use PDF Creator in a Terminal Server environment and the best feature is the automated profiles which allows staff members to automatically file documents by printing. being able to set per client/profile definitions is a game changer for us.

**What do you dislike about PDFCreator?**

I am not a great fan of the PDF Architect aspect. if it wasnt included then i would happily remove it

**What problems is PDFCreator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of converting documents and filing in a couple of clicks

**Official Response from Alyona Lutsenko:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with PDFCreator!

We're delighted to hear that PDFCreator is helping streamline your document workflows in a Terminal Server environment. Features like automated profiles, client-specific configurations, and automatic PDF filing are designed to simplify document management, reduce manual effort, and improve productivity for organizations handling large volumes of documents.

We appreciate your trust and remain committed to delivering reliable, efficient, and flexible PDF solutions for businesses of all sizes.

  ### 7. Reliable and User-Friendly PDF Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about PDFCreator?**

I love how PDFCreator is very simple and easy to use. It does exactly what I need without making the process complicated, and I find the layout straightforward. I appreciate the clean functionality and smooth performance. It’s user-friendly overall, making creating and managing PDFs convenient, especially for everyday use. Additionally, I use it for converting files to PDF format and organizing documents. It’s especially helpful when I need to send documents in a professional format or keep records that are easy to open and view on different devices. The software is simple to use, reliable, saves time, and the process is straightforward. I appreciate being able to quickly create PDFs without dealing with complicated settings, making it useful for both work-related tasks and general document management.

**What do you dislike about PDFCreator?**

No real dislikes. Overall, maybe a glitch or two - very minor.

**What problems is PDFCreator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PDFCreator for simple and quick PDF file creation and management, especially for everyday tasks. It simplifies converting and organizing documents, making sharing easy and professional, and supports records that are easily viewable across devices.

**Official Response from Mariia Kurbatova:**

> Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're happy to hear that you find PDFCreator straightforward, reliable, and easy to use. It's great to know that it has simplified PDF creation and document management for both your professional and personal workflows. We truly appreciate your feedback, and we're glad that the software continues to offer you a smooth and efficient experience.

  ### 8. User-Friendly Yet Costly Document Solution

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about PDFCreator?**

I like the ease of use of PDFCreator once it is configured. It shows up as a printer, which is convenient, and can be used through the right-click menu on files. The feature to merge multiple files into a single PDF is also quite handy. The design is user-friendly, especially for our team members who aren't very tech-savvy. The initial setup was very easy, which was a relief.

**What do you dislike about PDFCreator?**

Cost. It used to be free for people to use but now we have to pay per device and it's not really feasible to use anymore. Our client can't afford to spend money on PDFCreator unfortunately. Very easy, only thing is that PDF Architect comes with it and we have to make sure to not install that as we don't have a need for it.

**What problems is PDFCreator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PDFCreator makes it easier to password protect PDF documents when sending sensitive files. It's user-friendly, appears as a printer, is available in the right-click menu, and lets me merge multiple files into one PDF.

**Official Response from Mariia Kurbatova:**

> Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're happy to hear that the intuitive interface, PDF creation options, file merging capabilities, and security features have been valuable for your team. We appreciate your comment regarding pricing and the bundled installation options, and it will be forwarded to the corresponding team.

  ### 9. Flexible with C# and easy to operate – but the price-performance ratio has declined

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominik M. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about PDFCreator?**

The good adaptability via C# and the simple operation.

**What do you dislike about PDFCreator?**

The price-performance ratio has significantly worsened over the years, as the price has continuously increased significantly, but the performance and features (from our perspective) have not.

**What problems is PDFCreator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the PDF Creator Server in conjunction with email dispatch via a C# script to effectively manage invoice dispatch.

**Official Response from Alyona Lutsenko:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience, Dominik!

It's great to hear that PDFCreator Server has become part of your invoice automation workflow. Using C# scripting together with automated email delivery is exactly the kind of scenario the Server edition was designed for, so it's rewarding to know it's helping reduce manual work and keep your document processes running efficiently.

Your comment about pricing is equally valuable. Our development has focused heavily on reliability, compatibility with modern Windows environments, security updates, and enterprise automation features, but feedback like yours reminds us that we also need to make those improvements more tangible for existing customers.

Thanks again for taking the time to leave such balanced feedback. Reviews from experienced users help us prioritize future improvements while continuing to make PDFCreator Server a dependable solution for document automation and business workflows.

Your PDFCreator Team

  ### 10. Easy Virtual PDF Printer with Flexible Settings and Multi-Language Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about PDFCreator?**

It works like a virtual printer, making it possible to save PDFs in any context where a file can be printed, whether it’s a text document, a web page, or an image.
It’s available in several languages, and even after installation you can still change the language directly from the interface. This is very easy to do: just select the desired language from the drop-down menu in Settings.
The default settings already produce PDFs with a good quality-to-size ratio. However, for more specific needs, you can create custom profiles or fine-tune individual options (DPI, color model, adjusting the image compression factor, etc.). Using the information button, you can quickly access support resources such as the user guide, online documentation, and forums. Finally, by sending multiple files to print one after another, or simply dragging them into the application, you can merge them into a single PDF.

**What do you dislike about PDFCreator?**

The graphical information could be improved. For example, I only discovered by chance that you can also drag files into the application. Some features are only available in the paid version: for certain ones, like priority support or encryption, it’s completely understandable that they’re premium. For others, though—such as the ability to delete pages—I think they should be freely available to everyone. You can already work around this by manually excluding specific pages and selecting only the ones you want to print to PDF, so I don’t really see the point of keeping that feature behind a paywall.
With the default settings, the program stops working and no longer creates PDFs if a Quick Actions window remains open. The display of that window at the end of each PDF creation can still be disabled manually, but as it is, leaving it open seems to break PDF creation.

**What problems is PDFCreator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is very useful for creating PDFs from various types of documents and web pages, and it also works especially well with images. It generates lightweight PDFs that I can easily send by email. It also lets me merge multiple files into a single PDF while still allowing me to change the order of the original documents and rotate pages as needed. I can do all of this easily, even by dragging files directly into the application, which speeds up my work.

**Official Response from Mariia Kurbatova:**

> Hi there,
Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re glad the features of PDF Creator are helping your workflow. We appreciate your suggestions about improving feature visibility and your thoughts on free vs. premium features. Your feedback has been shared with our team. The issue with the Quick Actions window is not expected behavior. Please make sure you’re using the latest version, and feel free to contact support if it continues.
