What I like most about Paubox is how seamlessly it integrates with Google Workspace and automatically encrypts emails without disrupting my usual workflow. I don’t have to learn a new email platform or ask recipients to sign in to a separate portal just to receive secure messages. What do you dislike about Paubox? The setup instructions were generally clear, especially for connecting Paubox with Google Workspace. The main challenge came up when something didn’t work as expected. At that point, the troubleshooting guidance could have been more detailed, because it was hard to tell whether the problem was in Google Workspace, my domain or DNS settings, or within Paubox itself. I appreciated that the Paubox team offered to schedule an onboarding appointment, and it was a thoughtful offer. However, as a solo nurse practitioner building and managing my practice without an internal IT team, I’m also juggling credentialing, compliance, technology, and other startup responsibilities. Scheduling an additional appointment isn’t always easy. More comprehensive, Google Workspace-specific troubleshooting instructions—along with examples of common errors and self-service diagnostic tools—would make onboarding more efficient for independent providers who need to complete setup on their own. As a solo nurse practitioner launching a telehealth practice, I needed a secure, HIPAA-compliant email solution that would let me communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals without forcing recipients to create accounts or log into a separate portal. Paubox offers seamless email encryption that integrates with my existing Google Workspace environment, helping me get my practice ready to meet HIPAA requirements while keeping the email workflow I’m already used to. It gives me confidence that protected health information can be sent securely as my practice grows, without adding unnecessary complexity for future patients or referring providers.
