"Lightweight, Clean Parrot OS with a Great Built-In Toolset"

What do you like best about Parrot Security OS?

I’ve used both Kali Linux and Parrot OS, but I like Parrot OS much more than Kali Linux. Parrot OS feels lighter than Kali Linux, and it comes with many development and ethical tools already installed, such as VS Code, Node.js, and Git. It also includes hacking tools like Nmap and Metasploit. It uses very few resources, and the UI is clean and easy to use without feeling too difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parrot Security OS?

Some tools require a graphics card, but my system doesn’t have strong graphics, so those tools don’t run. Also, since this is a Linux-based OS, we need to know the command line to use it properly; otherwise, everything is fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Parrot Security OS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Parrot OS provides a lightweight operating system that comes with many tools. I think it has around 500+ tools for ethical hacking and development. Most of the tools are already installed, so I can use them hassle-free without spending extra time setting everything up. In my experience, it also runs well on low-end devices, except in cases where tasks require a very high-end graphics card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
