It was nice to have Panaya to record our steps through the testing process. This allowed us to follow other testers steps, verify others had completed preivous items and steps correctly, and allowed for testers to complete their steps independently. That was all beneficial to our process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Panaya Smart Testing and Change Intelligence? The downside to Panaya is the draw on resources from our computers and browsers. It would frequently freeze and crash, causing us to have timeout issues with the applications we were testing, as well as causing us to have to completely restart tests. There came a point in the testing period that if Panaya crashed or froze more than once, I opted to complete my test without Panaya, for the sake of getting things completed in a timely manner, and utilized screenshots for evidence. I could not run tests with Panaya goign unless I was plugged in through ethernet, which made testing avilability quite limited. Others on my team experienced issues with their laptops and computers due to the resources being constantly used for Panaya. While beneficial and necessary for our process of testing, there seems to be a great deal that Panaya needs to improve on so that testing runs a bit more smooth. For testers who are not tech-savvy, I question if issues they found were Panaya based or truly defects in our upcoming new invoicing software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. It helped us ensure that prior testers completed steps correctly and accurately, as well as allowed us to go back to their actions to see what dates, employees, and equipment they utilized, in order to properly complete our testing steps.
