What do you like best about OWNA Child Care App?

There are multiple reasons OWNA is a beneficial app. Over my years in the Child Care Sector, I have used many other child care apps, all of which were quite glitchy, not user friendly and did not have everything all in one place like OWNA, so we used multiple software apps to ensure compliance. However, on OWNA, it's not just for educators to use for observations, programming etc.; OWNA has created an app that fits all the centre's requirements in one place! Admin, family accounts/invoices, CCS, attendances, enrolment forms, CRM, waitlist, QIP, staff reflections, staff and parent communication, children's daily information... the list goes on! Anything you can think of is on here; if it isn't, they have an excellent suggestion section that sends them your feedback immediately, and I have always received a swift reply. OWNA has made our transition smooth as we try to become a more environmentally sustainable centre, using little to no paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OWNA Child Care App?

Not a lot of downsides; it can occasionally glitch or shut down unexpectedly. However, the OWNA team are constantly posting updates to fix minor bugs like this, and they are rectified quite quickly and have little to no impact on our service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OWNA Child Care App solving and how is that benefiting you?

Compared to other apps, OWNA has helped us become more environmentally sustainable. We do not have to print off enrolment forms, incident reports, etc. They are all stored on the app, or we can download them to save on a back up drive for our record keeping requirements. Also, everything is in one place; as a Director, I am overseeing the service operations and the program etc; having it all available in one place has made my job a lot easier. Rosters, reflections, financials, CCS, accounts, waitlist. For my educators, I know it has helped the planning cycle become more effective as you can link posts/learning documents back to the program easily. Families have access to a lot more than they would without the app; for example, policies no longer need to be sent via emails as we upload these to our app, and parents can view these at any time and write feedback on them. I love that we can change the app's settings to suit our service's needs and make it our own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
