"Stable and Reliable for Enterprise Workloads"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Oracle Linux?

I like Oracle Linux for its stability and reliability, which is crucial for handling enterprise workloads efficiently. Its strong security features and regular updates give me confidence that our servers remain protected. I appreciate its compatibility with many Linux tools, making server management easier without needing a steep learning curve once everything is set up. Oracle Linux helps us maintain a stable, secure, and reliable server environment, reducing downtime and simplifying system management. The consistent performance for business applications is another plus. I also value how it seamlessly integrates with Oracle Database, Docker, Git, and standard Linux admin tools, working well with monitoring and automation tools, making server management and application deployment smoother. What do you dislike about Oracle Linux?

One area that could be improved is the initial setup and documentation for new users. Some advanced configurations require Linux experience and troubleshooting can take time. I would also like to see a more user-friendly management interface for routine administrative tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
