It also helps us to quickly pull aggregated data as soon as it's input. This has helped because we no longer get different answers depending on whose spreadsheet is looked at. **What do you dislike about Oracle Hyperion Planning?** There is a lot of processes that still occur outside of the application that we perform in order to provide our inputs. This has caused some challenges in user adoption as spreadsheets are easier for them. **What problems is Oracle Hyperion Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** It provides a single system where we can perform our forecasting and budgetting. This has helped stopped the submission of multiple spreadsheets and provided a single stop shop to get the answer on what the correct numbers are at any level of details required. ### 3. The most important aspect is the correct implementation of the suite to integrate with Salesforce and other applications and also have a way to add Headcount and commentary details as part of the financial information. **What problems is Oracle Hyperion Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hyperion planning helps me in building financial forecasts budgets and tools and provides easy accessible retrieval of these budgets by comparing them with the Actuals. ### 4. Also the new cloud version is enabling it to be used accross different platforms and integration. **What do you dislike about Oracle Hyperion Planning?** Not much customisable in terms of user interface. The basic actions that user may want is missing from this. Hoping oracle may work over it and give some dynamic dashboards in future. **What problems is Oracle Hyperion Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's gives really good features and analytical perspective to financial users to analyse the large data set. Also very capable to handle large complex business calculations. ### 6. This helps in seamless interfacing with excel allowing complex data manipulation and data entry without the need of any specialized user training. **What do you dislike about Oracle Hyperion Planning?** The drawback of using Hyperion is the lack of any advanced analytical or dashboarding capabilities within the tool. You either need to suffice with the basic dashboarding capabilities or get an external dashboarding tool like PowerBI. **What problems is Oracle Hyperion Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem it is solving is reducing the planning time for the planners. I can get all the data from the upstream systems in one single place and planners can then review the data to finalize their planning process. ### 7. Goes very well for the planning and budgeting of any organization, Also best EPM tool across all the domain for all the OLAP needs. **What do you dislike about Oracle Hyperion Planning?** Slow in updation from Oracle and latest versions have few bugs which need to take care, its compatibility with other ETL is bit challenging. Also latest version doesnt support the Hyperion Studio is bit of a bummer. **What problems is Oracle Hyperion Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** Daily development activities for reporting Application with big data set, primary benefits include Rapid Application Development and easy-to-track will issues. ### 8. For any dashboarding for management reporting users have to rely on external tools like PowerBI or Tableau **What problems is Oracle Hyperion Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping in planning process. It allows me to have complete visibility in forecasting and budgeting for my spends in a systematic and streamlined manner.
