What do you like best about Oracle Essbase?

Data is loaded in Essbase in realtime. No time lag is needed to retrieve it. I also like its integration with other apps such as spreadsheet. The performance is fast. As per my knowledge, this gives the best dashboard experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Essbase?

Initial setup was very tough. Patches are time consuming. New employees who join the time are finding difficult to develop learning curve to use this product easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Oracle Essbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work in a multi national manufacturing company(OEM). We use Essbase to analyze data to identify trends, make predictions and identify places where financial performance and warehouse efficiency can be included. Financial data is being analysed at multiple levels such as location, product code, time period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
