No time lag is needed to retrieve it. I also like its integration with other apps such as spreadsheet. The performance is fast. As per my knowledge, this gives the best dashboard experience. **What do you dislike about Oracle Essbase?** Initial setup was very tough. Patches are time consuming. New employees who join the time are finding difficult to develop learning curve to use this product easily. **What problems is Oracle Essbase solving and how is that benefiting you?** I work in a multi national manufacturing company(OEM). We use Essbase to analyze data to identify trends, make predictions and identify places where financial performance and warehouse efficiency can be included. One thing, I liked most about using Oracle Essbase is its flexibility & Rapid Deployment. Every day Oracle Essbase is providing new features and functionalities to the product. We could also use on-the-fly analytic models in our industry. In the Rapid deployment, Oracle Essbase doesn't take much time in installing, configuration and all, we can do it very easily in less time. **What do you dislike about Oracle Essbase?** I don't dislike it. But I want a few things to be improved. The Overall UI of the application is a bit consolidated. I think it should be enhanced. And, another thing is that Oracle Essbase is not beginner-friendly to understand and execute. But if you're into the Essbase, then you should try to discover it, it would be very much profitable. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Essbase:** I'll highly recommend everyone, who are into the Essbase. Oracle Essbase, comes with some of the amazing power-packed features, which you must use. You can create your private VCN and connect with some on-premises data sources. New users might find themselves nowhere without any training about its uses. It can be customized to quickly dissect small to large amounts of financial or statistical data. The capability to save premade templates and automate them is fantastic. **What do you dislike about Oracle Essbase?** Macros and other excel formulas often conflict with pre-saved templates. We're also seeing excel version compatibility issues at times. The overall UI is a bit dated and very technical when something doesn't work well. It would be better if we could quickly receive error messages that display possible fixes. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Essbase:** Enjoy the product **What problems is Oracle Essbase solving and how is that benefiting you?** FP&A for a large corporate finance team.
