What do you like best about Oracle Data Modeler?

The pricing and ROI are unbeatable since it's completely free, saving us from adding another SaaS bill. It integrates seamlessly into our Oracle ecosystem and Git setups, making it easy to map out schemas that feed our CRM and BI dashboards. What do you dislike about Oracle Data Modeler?

The UI/UX feels like an old 2000s desktop app-clunky, outdated, and tough to navigate. Support and onboarding are practically non-existent beyond dry technical documentation and forum threads. System performance also degrades significantly on massive schemas, causing workstation lag, and there are zero modern ai features to assist with smart layout or automated mapping. What problems is Oracle Data Modeler solving and how is that benefiting you?

It prevents misalignments between our backend database architecture and front-end sales reporting. Having a visual, well-governed map ensures our analytics team builds clean data pipelines, giving sales leadership reliable pipeline metrics and forecasting without paying extra for third-party enterprise modeling software.
