The elements that are most helpful to a traditional 'techie' is the automation of the platform and infrastructure, e.g. patching and upgrades now all sorted. It's biggest draw against its competitors is the performance of the underlying platform, making it pound for pound super competitive. Historically the issue was the lack of integration into existing OCI cloud services and networking constructs however this has been resolved.
