If you're looking to try new things, I strongly recommend going through Optimizely. It features a powerful data engine a suite for feature experiments and a lot of targeting and audience options. Also there have been almost no problems or breaks in service throughout the years. Further, we have been satisfied with the professional help and tools for such help; the tools at least make work on support and problem tickets easier. As I said before, communication problems are usually caused by the way the business works. One example of this is the feature experimentation tool, also known as server-side experimentation, which is hard for users with a low amount of knowledge about technology to use. The standout feature and benefit I've noticed is the ability to customise experiementation with funtional grouping & directed approach which shows us in depth, what is it that different groups of user segments need, and better statistics-driven way to profile them, and characterise their behavior, habits and tendencies, is extremely useful and we appreciate. Also, it is an all-in-all encompassing platform (one stop shop solution in essence) which has extensive insights, reporting features and tools which is extremely useful for us having been an organization which values and is deeply involved in analytics to drive a big portion of our business. One of the bigger negatives is one of the common themes as with other Optimizely products - it is very expensive. Even when you compare it with rival platforms offering the same functionalities, there isn't much difference that makes this software as premium, as the developers and the pricing point claims it. It makes it hard for us as a department to justify pricing to our superiors when similar platforms can do the same in much lesser cost

Also, as I've come to understand that the learning curve is very very steep. What any organization signing on a platform appreciates is the ease of implementation and use, but this isn't easy especially for new users, who have no experience with such platforms, tend to struggle to figure out what is where and how to use it. This is especially important in a scaling organization like ours since we want to function efficiently, adapt, and becomes owners of tools quick. Optimizely continues to upgrade their products, encourages feedback and listens to end users. Support has been good - we've been through several customer care reps and they have all been knowledgeable. My team or anyone who we train in the platform picks up the software easily - not a complicated process. While reporting has gotten better, there are still a few things id like to see. Of course this is a 'content' management platform, not a 'project' management platform, but i think it could get closer to a true PM experience.
