It features a powerful data engine a suite for feature experiments and a lot of targeting and audience options. Also there have been almost no problems or breaks in service throughout the years. Further, we have been satisfied with the professional help and tools for such help; the tools at least make work on support and problem tickets easier. If anything, the company might have only done a better job with communication. **What do you dislike about Optimizely One?** As I said before, communication problems are usually caused by the way the business works. One example of this is the feature experimentation tool, also known as server-side experimentation, which is hard for users with a low amount of knowledge about technology to use. What this means for speed is that Optimizely may be even lighter. **What problems is Optimizely One solving and how is that benefiting you?** It works well for a thorough A/B test where top management really wants to know how much the change affected things. It's not very useful if you try to create a one-page, simple form, unless the form is part of a bigger process. The security plan does include role-based access control and protections against injection attempts, but nobody seems to know anything about it. ### 3. I like it because it is a great tool to automate processes with a minimum of technical knowledge. It helps a lot when creating, structuring and publishing content. **What do you dislike about Optimizely One?** Getting started with the system is not that easy to understand, but once you do, you don't want to go back to other systems. Also sometimes it seems as if we are building a spaceship and flying it at the same time. Plus, the learning curve is high. **What problems is Optimizely One solving and how is that benefiting you?** The open source of this tool offers more innovation and efficiency when implementing web solutions. It is also compatible with mobile devices from the beginning and the API is excellent. And the reason to use it is that it helps create complex solutions very quickly. ### 4. A "One"-stop shop solution with flexibility in usage and understanding **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024 **What do you like best about Optimizely One?** The standout feature and benefit I've noticed is the ability to customise experiementation with funtional grouping & directed approach which shows us in depth, what is it that different groups of user segments need, and better statistics-driven way to profile them, and characterise their behavior, habits and tendencies, is extremely useful and we appreciate. Also, it is an all-in-all encompassing platform (one stop shop solution in essence) which has extensive insights, reporting features and tools which is extremely useful for us having been an organization which values and is deeply involved in analytics to drive a big portion of our business. Our point of contact with Optimizely has provided prompt and timely customer service when needed, or finds answers in a timely fashion. **What do you dislike about Optimizely One?** One of the bigger negatives is one of the common themes as with other Optimizely products - it is very expensive. Even when you compare it with rival platforms offering the same functionalities, there isn't much difference that makes this software as premium, as the developers and the pricing point claims it. It makes it hard for us as a department to justify pricing to our superiors when similar platforms can do the same in much lesser cost Also, as I've come to understand that the learning curve is very very steep. What any organization signing on a platform appreciates is the ease of implementation and use, but this isn't easy especially for new users, who have no experience with such platforms, tend to struggle to figure out what is where and how to use it. This is especially important in a scaling organization like ours since we want to function efficiently, adapt, and becomes owners of tools quick. Prior experience in such platforms is the only savior to help catch on quickly with most features. **What problems is Optimizely One solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have struggled for many years with certain website challenges, especially on the expo sales, registration, or ecommerce/merchadise side. With the deployment of the One software, the landing page optimization has shot through the roof when comparing the before and after KPIs, which clearly indicate the issues we had faced, and how we detected to overcome them, that was crucla benefit of problems being solved. Knowing our customer is another bigger challenge we had. Having a gereral idea isn 't enough in our line of business and we wanted to bottle it down to the nitty gritties to profile them more accurately - we have finally understood our customers much better, and can provide as needed without any generic solution making, increasing the overall sales and registration KPIs. ### 6. Support has been good - we've been through several customer care reps and they have all been knowledgeable. My team or anyone who we train in the platform picks up the software easily - not a complicated process. My team and I use Optiminzely all day, and are always looking for ways to improve our processes. **What do you dislike about Optimizely One?** While reporting has gotten better, there are still a few things id like to see. Of course this is a 'content' management platform, not a 'project' management platform, but i think it could get closer to a true PM experience. Individual step and end due dates could be easier to work with. Some type of overarching content planning with a calendar view would be amazing. **What problems is Optimizely One solving and how is that benefiting you?** Optimizely helps us coordinate about 10 global work groups and all digital project requests. Our team pushes over 200 projects a month.
