"My Experience with OPNSense"

What do you like best about OPNsense®?

The thing I liked about using OPNsense is its excellent content filtering. I've heard from my seniors that it is very cost-effective for our company. In my personal use, I've noticed it has good authentication, and it initially offers a user-friendly interface. Additionally, it has a good performance, and the response time is very good. What do you dislike about OPNsense®?

There aren't many dislikes here, but one thing I want to point out is that the initial setup is quite difficult if you aren't familiar with much of the tech. Also, for personal use, I was going through the documentation, but it wasn't very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OPNsense® solving and how is that benefiting you?

It provides good network security. Without connecting to this, I can't access my company's content, which is a very good idea. So, if someone has my laptop, without connecting to OPNsense, they can't access the content. Also, as I mentioned earlier, it is cost-effective. It has good web filtering, like my organization doesn't allow us to open our personal Gmail on the company laptop, so we can't access it, all thanks to OPNsense.
