What do you like best about OpenText Universal Discovery & Universal CMDB (UD/UCMDB)?

MF uCMDB is one of the best in the industry. It can store up to 60 million CI's & all its relationships. The discovery module supports wider ranger of technologies.

Real time discovery of Docker Swarm is included & uCMDB is the only tool today to have this features.

Larger environment can be support with multiple discovery distribution points, which can be a low end PC's. this make the discovery process move dynamic & real time.

The latest version of uCMDB has an auto learning capability & groups all unidentified software, which the administrator can check & decide, it it needs to be added the repository for future discovery.

One of the unique feature is The Automated Service Modeling (ASM), which allows to model a business service starting from any Running Software CI & does not necessary requires to have a URL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Universal Discovery & Universal CMDB (UD/UCMDB)?

Though uCMDB has a strong multi-tenant feature, this features should be extended to uCMDB Browser too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

uCMDB help in fulling several processes like Asset & Service Management (Incident, Problem, Change, Release) in keeping tab of the cost of ownership, SLA tacking & Impact analysis.
