What do you like best about OpenNMS Platform?

There is a lot of helpful documentation. So, it's most likely to find answers to the questions we have during the customization of the OpenNMS system for the first time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenNMS Platform?

There is a steep learning curve to use opennms. At times, we get overwhelmed with all the features. The XML configuration files are a bit too much at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering OpenNMS Platform:

What problems is OpenNMS Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

Its a open source. So, we used it to test the devices that are not posting for the last 24 hours. As we need to report on these devices. Its advantage is, it comes with a rich UI. I personally liked to notification system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
