"Overall great experience - Stable JDK, no prod issue."
4.5/5
What do you like best about OpenJDK 8 (Java 8) on Ubuntu 18?

Overall openJDK8 is very stable with minor issues. It is faster, with a good amount of new features (though with Java11 and above, we get even more of them). And with Ubuntu (or any other Debian distribution), Java 8 (or any other Java version for that matter), ease of installation and configuration along with faster application deployments are some major advantages. What do you dislike about OpenJDK 8 (Java 8) on Ubuntu 18?

Faced some issues with Java thread pool management (with JBoss) when upgrading to openJDK8. There were some config changes done which weren't properly documented that caused performance issues with our application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
