What do you like best about Openai?

The API is incredibly easy to work with for building custom internal tools. As an integration specialist, I love how straightforward the documentation is. What do you dislike about Openai?

Cost forecasting at an enterprise scale is definitely a headache. When you have thousands of employees hitting internal tools, predicting the monthly API spend is tough. Also, we occasionally hit rate limits or latency spikes during peak hours, which can cause timeouts in our automated workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Openai solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problem it solves for us is the sheer amount of time spent on writing boilerplate code and parsing unstructured data across our systems. We use OpenAI to draft scripts for new API integrations, summarize complex log files, and even automate parts of our internal IT support desk. The biggest benefit is speed: what used to take my team a week to prototype can now be spun up in a couple of days, freeing us to focus on actual architecture rather than manual coding.
