The free tier is genuinely useful, most competitors lock basic segmentation behind paid plans but OneSignal gives you enough to run real campaigns without paying anything. The dashboard is clean, setup took maybe 20 minutes for our first integration, and the delivery rates have been consistent. API documentation is actually readable which is rare.

**What do you dislike about OneSignal?**

Analytics could go deeper, you get open rates and click rates but attribution gets murky if you're running multiple campaigns simultaneously. The free tier email limit feels a bit arbitrary compared to what they give you on push. Customer support response time is slow unless you're on a paid plan.

Needed a reliable way to re-engage users who visit once and leave. OneSignal handles the entire push notification layer so we're not building that infrastructure ourselves. worst part is that main website has too many menus, making it hard to find simple settings. Also if you run into bug and need help from customer service, it takes them while to reply.

OneSignal's documentation is among the best I have ever encountered. The user experience is elegant, up to date, and vast while remaining easy to find the answers you're looking for. The journey is succinct and logical thus keeping information overload and questions to a minimum. As a developer, the API documentation is by far the best I have ever used. The cohesiveness between user docs, developer docs, and the product itself is seamless.

I would like to see more features provided with the free plan, especially in the Message Personalization area. This would make it better to build feature rich working demos for clients.

- This is an all-in-one solution for sending notifications across different platforms.
- I uses push mobile push notificaiton, Webpush and in-app messages.

**What do you dislike about OneSignal?**

I have been using OneSignal for many years, primarily for push notifications. While they have kept push notifications free, there is now a limitation on the number of tags you can use. Over the years, this limit has been reduced to just two tags, whereas it used to be higher. If you decide to switch to a paid plan, OneSignal is more expensive for push notifications compared to some competitors. For example, Firebase FCM offers free push notifications for both Android and iOS.

The user interface makes it easier to send and track notifications. The dashboard is well-designed and displays useful analytics, such as live active users and click rates. Additionally, the REST API support is reliable, which allows us to send notifications from the server side effectively.

Sending notifications automated with selected time(for example i select mostly prime hours like 18:30 and system automatically send notifications in each countries local time at 18:30.). And segmentation of users feature is very good for me.

Maybe giving permission from store accounts can be a downside, but it is ok i had no problem since i use onesignal from 2015. And for Unity Game Engine sometimes sdk plugin files has issue with other sdk's like firebase. But lately it is fixed.

For me onesignal is boosting my retention rates. And i check some analytics data with onesignal also while preparing notifications.

OneSignal helps me to notify my Drivers of new ride requests without them having to pay constant attention to their devices. as soon as a request appears, a notification is sent in a timely and reliable manner. For riders, notifications tailored to alert them when their Driver is assigned are equally as helpful. it removes the anxiety of constantly having to check and brings the assurance of communication. Both parties are kept in the loop without having to constantly check for updates!
