What do you like best about ON EBX?

What I like most about ON EBX is the flexibility it provides for putting a data governance strategy into practice. Its customizable workflows, permissions, and perspectives make it possible to tailor the platform to different business roles and processes.

For instance, workflows can guide users through data creation, review, and approval, helping ensure that changes follow the agreed governance process. Role-based permissions clarify who can view, edit, or approve data, while perspectives give each user group a focused view of the information and actions that matter most for their role.

I also appreciate its ability to integrate with ERP systems and other applications. This lets us manage and govern master data in EBX while still making it available where it’s needed, especially when multiple systems depend on the same governed data.

What do you dislike about ON EBX?

One area that could be improved is the initial configuration experience. While ON EBX can be straightforward for business users once everything is in place, setting up the data model, workflows, permissions, and perspectives takes time and often requires solid technical knowledge.

What problems is ON EBX solving and how is that benefiting you?

ON EBX helps us tackle fragmented master data management by turning data governance requirements into structured, repeatable processes. It gives us a central place to manage master data, define responsibilities, and control how information is created, reviewed, and approved.

Its workflows and role-based permissions make ownership and accountability clearer, which reduces the need for manual coordination. Perspectives also help business users focus on the data and tasks that are most relevant to their role.
