As a Principal Security Consultant, I require proxy infrastructure that prioritizes both anonymity and network stability. What I like best about OmegaProxy is the low detection rate of their residential IP pool. We utilize their services for sensitive OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) gathering and vulnerability research where remaining undetected by target firewalls is critical. The SOCKS5 support is robust, and the latency is surprisingly low for residential nodes. Additionally, their dashboard provides a clean interface for managing rotation settings, which allows us to automate our security audits with high precision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the technical performance is impressive, I would like to see more advanced API security features, such as the ability to whitelist multiple IP ranges for dashboard access. From a cybersecurity standpoint, more granular activity logs specifically for administrative changes within the OmegaProxy account would be a helpful addition for internal compliance audits. Also, while their current documentation is solid, more specific guides on integrating with security-focused automation tools would benefit technical power users.
