What do you like best about Octave Facets P&ID?

SmartPlant P&ID gives "life" and properties to the 2D P&ID's. When used correctly, the P&ID's and objects etc will have links and associations to Smart 3D and SmartPlant Construction which helps with database/report generation in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Octave Facets P&ID?

It is a bit more time consuming than the traditional drafting with AutoCAD/MicroStation. It requires more time to use the software correctly to ensure that the "links" between objects are accurate and correct. A Drafter must also understand the "theories" in design/construction much more than simply "drafting redlines". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Octave Facets P&ID solving and how is that benefiting you?

When using the whole suite of software from SmartPlant P&ID, to Smart 3D, to SmartPlant Construction, it simplifies a lot of the checking (missing objects, unaccounted for lines or equipment etc).
