Light weight, faster compares to any RDBMS. 2.Good to work on something that no one knows. 3.Easily distributed as it is an in-memory database. 4. Migration from one version to another is relatively easy. 5. Adding a new schema or a set of new clustered object is easy. 6.Can easily be integrated with visual studio. **What do you dislike about ObjectStore?** 1. No documentation available over the internet, not even at their website as well. So for every query, we have to log a ticket at their website. 2.Support desks has to get improved. 3.Cant think of moving to multi-threaded environment as the transactions are not thread-safe. 4. We have to dump the whole collection because we have no way to know which id maps to which object. 5. Has to take extra care on deleting objects from oslist or oscollection. It has to be resized forcefully. **What problems is ObjectStore solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a monolithic application running on windows platforms that help customers to optimize their business.Data size is relatively small but randomly hitting the database throughout the run-time. Object store returns the C++ objects from memory. ### 2. It makes life easy for a developer of multi-user-systems. **What do you dislike about ObjectStore?** The price-model. Don't know how this looks like today. Developer versions should be cheap, because it's the end user application that makes the money. **What problems is ObjectStore solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used ObjectStore for the mother of all integrated modelbased engineering systems for the development of complex electronic/electric systems, ESCAPE. It's predecessor CAPE/C, also based on Objectstore, has been used to develop almost every second tram or metro in europe. ### 3.
