"My honest review after using NX CAM for almost 3 plus years"

What do you like best about NX CAM?

- It provides a variety of programs in every machining

- It provided integrated machine simulation, which is not provided by any other tool that I have used.

- NX CAM and CAD have the same interface, so it is very easy to modify a part and machine it again.

- After replacing the component and clicking the generate option, all the programs get regenerated.

- It also provided a line-by-line simulation of the tool according to the generated program.

- As standard post processors are available in the SMK bundle provided by Siemens only, the implementation of programs over different types of machines is an easy task.

- We can observe tool positions by selecting different points on the tool path. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NX CAM?

- As it contains lots of options, it is difficult to understand all of them.

- Siemens should provide video or documented support to better understand all the options available. Customer support can be improved.

- Pricing is high as compared to available industry software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NX CAM solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Complex multi-axis programming makes easy.

- Tool and machine simulation at the same place without changing the interface

- Line-by-line simulation of a program helps us understand the process of machining.

- Standard post processors eliminate the need to hire an untrusted person to build a post processor for my machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
