I like the co-pilot assistance and the customizable post-processors in NX CAM. The seamless updates on the tool paths and the integration from CAD to CAM are really beneficial. I also appreciate the extensive scriptable post-processors framework that creates error-free codes for machine layout. The complex multi-axis abilities are a standout feature that prompted us to switch from HyperMill to NX CAM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For simpler shops running 3 or 4 axis indexing machines, NX CAM might be inefficient. It also lacks a native 4-click chamfer tool, requiring users to configure complex planar profiles, while simpler platforms only need a few clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
