What do you like best about NVIDIA Nemotron Nano 9b?

This is an open-source SLM that provides competitive, expert-level reasoning compared to traditional LLMs. It also lets me manually switch between “think” and “no think,” which is helpful for smaller queries when I want quicker responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NVIDIA Nemotron Nano 9b?

It lacks multimodal capabilities and can’t process images, audio, or video. It’s basically a text-only model, which puts it behind many of the major models currently available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NVIDIA Nemotron Nano 9b solving and how is that benefiting you?

Running this model locally helps me handle reasoning queries with low latency. For more complex maths and reasoning tasks, it also provides a sufficient context window for general day-to-day use.
