What do you like best about NVIDIA cuOpt?

A major advantage of this NVIDIA cuOpt platform is that it solves complex optimisation problems, it helps us in leveraging GPU acceleration at significantly reduce the required time for scaling larger routing, scheduling and other resource allocation tasks when compared with traditional CPU-based solvers. Also, it integrates with the most popular optimisation frameworks like JUMP, PuLP, and AMPL, which makes us adoption is here without even rebuilding existing models and being open source platform, this is also another major benefit for developers experimenting with optimisation workflows. What do you dislike about NVIDIA cuOpt?

This platform delivers the good or even best value when we already have access to NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, but for organisations without GPU hardware, the initial investment can be a consideration and there is also a learning curve for teams who are due to mathematical optimisation or CUDA based environment and some of the advanced optimisation capabilities are still under active development. What problems is NVIDIA cuOpt solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use this platform to solve larger problems when it involves routing and scheduling, and other resource planning bar are execution time is very much critical. Instead of waiting minutes or even asking for optimisation runs, we can generate optimise solution much faster, allowing quicker operational decisions and more frequent re-optimisation as business conditions change.
