"No more custom-building google docs... I switched to Notch and am never going back."

What do you like best about Notch?

I run a single-person business, so my time's at a premium. Usually when I write proposals for prospects, I end up getting stuck on layout and styling issues (distracts from the deal), and I also then have to pass around endless documents by email (can get confusing for everyone).

I switched to Notch recently and have already worked on 6 or so deals. With its prebuilt components and easy sharing, Notch lets me stay focused just on the content of the proposal. That helps me use my time better and also have better conversations with clients. That's what ultimately land the deal, not fiddling with layout, styling, or PDFs or whatever. What do you dislike about Notch?

The client collab functions work in basic ways (at the moment, you mostly just get a chat log with the client), but I hope they'll get even better with time. It would be great to see a richer way to collect decisions or feedback about a proposal (option A or option B) or even approvals of sections when drafting. Also while onboarding clients to the platform works just fine, I worry that asking clients to register can create friction undesirable friction (yeah they can just use a secret link, but if i want them to sign the proposal, for example, that can be a small hurdle to overcome). But I think that's a "me" problem, not so much with Notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
