It's in dotnetcore, which is one of the best technologies currently, and the best thing is it's open source. It uses the best of the software design principles. We were having a hard time customizing a well-known PHP-based ecommerce application, luckily got to know about nopCommerce and created and modified our store in very little time from scratch. The best thing is it's very organized (uses very good architecture, easy to maintain and work), lightweight, and fast. It's easy to customize and lots of features are already available. Now in version 4.3, we can use MySQL database which is open source and dotnetcore can be hosted on any cheap Linux server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
