I really appreciate how Nomad helps me thoroughly find great tenants, something I could have never done without them. Their finance financial check is particularly valuable because it ensures that tenants’ pay stubs or W2s are legitimate and verifies their income, so I know they can afford my monthly rent price. I also love the rent guarantee where Nomad chases tenants for payment, and even guarantees me two months of rent if tenants don’t pay. This gives me a buffer while handling evictions, so I won’t be losing money anymore. The initial setup was super easy, connecting instantly to my bank, and Nomad really facilitates communication as the middleman between tenants and landlords. The ease of reaching tenants across the U.S. and signing leases with open communication has been fantastic. For some reason, the first six or seven prospective tenants who wanted to tour the rental property I was not able to communicate with them well. I sent them emails and called and texted, and they were either outdated phone numbers and not in service, or the prospective tenant did not reply to my email. Some of them said that they made a profile, but I did not see any profile on the Nomad website. It was just not as user-friendly to communicate with the prospective tenants, or maybe it might have been the tenants, and that was lacking a lot of information. There's room for improvement under the "find tenants" tab. Maybe ask the tenants to provide a current phone number and facilitate a better, maybe anonymized, communication channel, like an email that's different from the one I provided to Nomad.
