That was part of the purchasing decision for us, as our use case involved variable quantities of new leads that we use the Neverbounce API to check before adding them to a drip sequence. In 2024, they introduced an expiration date on credits in fine print on the pricing page. I'm guessing this is a way to increase the revenue without raising the price, since there is no real-world reason why the credits need to expire. It’s like the Post Office announcing that all unused forever stamps will expire in a year and adding an expiration date to any stamps made in the future. This is a pretty major shift for customers who have already written software around their service. I reached out to their customer service asking for a resolution, and they seemed apologetic but said nothing could be done. I see this is a common complaint with the company, and in looking at their website I also noticed they advertise 7,000+ G2 reviews with a 4.5-star rating. As of today, they have 138 reviews and a 4.2-star rating. I don't know what else they're lying about, there could be more things, and it certainly leaves me wondering about the accuracy of their product. We had a large email campaign ready to go - but it was shut down because of high bounce rates. We checked with neverbounce to ask what happened since we just cleaned the list the night before. We urgently needed to resolve the situation or we risk losing a week's worth of sending. They were slow to reply (taking 24-48 hours in between responses initially). Their responses were not helpful. And then they just stopped responding altogether. They did nothing to resolve the issue, or answer any of our questions. And they most certainly made no effort to honor their guarantee. My last message to them was that if we didn't hear back soon we were going to leave a poor review on G2 and initiate a chargeback. Suddenly they responded and said that our messages had been landing in their spam folder which is why they didn't see them. Rest assured they are on top of the matter now. The percentage is exceeding 5%, which is enough to be very problematic for our email campaigns. When evaluating the domains manually, nearly each of these domains is returning a result that the domain is a Throwaway domain. As I paid a fair bit of money for this initial test, I contacted Customer Support about this to see if we could resolve it.
