What do you like best about Netwrix PingCastle?

It does pretty much what you’d expect. It scans Active Directory for security issues and misconfigurations, then gives you a clear score so you can see what needs attention first. The free tier is also useful if you want to test it out before committing to a paid plan. The reports are straightforward and easy to share with people who aren’t very technical. Setup took a bit of trial and error, and the support response could be quicker, but overall, it’s a solid option for keeping AD security in check. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Netwrix PingCastle?

Getting everything set up took a bit of tweaking before it was working properly. The pricing isn’t really transparent either, since you have to contact sales to get a quote. It’s also Windows-only and currently limited to English, which might be an issue for some environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Netwrix PingCastle solving and how is that benefiting you?

It’s been useful for finding security gaps in Active Directory, especially things like risky delegations, weak trust settings, and GPO problems. The risk scoring is probably one of the most helpful parts since it gives us a better idea of what to tackle first instead of having to figure it out manually.
