"Easy Employee Recognition, But Reward Variety Could Improve"
What do you like best about Nectar?

Nectar makes employee recognition very simple and more consistent. The points and rewards system keeps teams engaged and it’s easy to appreciate someone for good work in public channels. Setup is quite easy and doesn’t take much effort. Integrations like Slack can be enabled quickly, and team onboarding is simple. Support is responsive and helpful for most queries. Sometimes the resolution takes time when it’s related to rewards or third-party vendors. We use Nectar weekly for giving recognition and sending points. It becomes more active during team events or monthly appreciation cycles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nectar?

Reward options can feel limited depending on location, and sometimes the catalog doesn’t have enough variety. Also, few features feel basic and could be improved for better customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Platform for Employee Recognition and Rewards"
What do you like best about Nectar?

I believe Nectar is an excellent tool for recognizing employees and sharing updates throughout the company. With our team spread across several states, I appreciate being able to see what my colleagues in other locations are working on and to receive recognition for my own contributions. I also really enjoy the rewards system—Nectar provides a variety of great options for redeeming reward points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nectar?

The main issue I have with Nectar is that I am repeatedly required to log in, even though it is already linked to Teams. I would prefer if there were an automatic login feature that kept me connected as long as my Teams account is active. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowering Recognition Across the Company"
What do you like best about Nectar?

I love the chance to shout people out and have them recognized by the whole company. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, there are a number of gifs and fun memes to use in shout outs. I look at it every day to see what shout outs are being given, and I am always so proud when I receive a shout out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nectar?

I really don't dislike anything at all, I can't think of anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Recognition and User-Friendly Experience"
What do you like best about Nectar?

I really appreciate how Nectar allows me to publicly recognize my coworkers in a way that genuinely benefits them. The platform is extremely user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for me to navigate and find whatever I need. Giving shoutouts is also a quick and straightforward process, which I find very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nectar?

The only aspect of Nectar that I find frustrating is the need to cash out points in set increments, which often leaves a small balance remaining. However, I am unsure if this is a decision made by Nectar or if it is outside of their control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nectar Strengthens Team Morale and Communication"
What do you like best about Nectar?

I really like how easy Nectar is to access and navigate. The platform feels straightforward, and I can quickly get to what I need without any hassle. The reward options are also really good — there’s a wide variety to choose from, which makes the experience more enjoyable and motivating. Overall, it’s convenient, user-friendly, and offers meaningful rewards that actually feel worth earning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nectar?

I don’t have many dislikes. The only small inconvenience is that I often have to re-verify my login even when I select the option to remember my device. It’s not a major issue, but it can be a little repetitive at times. Other than that, my experience has been positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Personalized Messaging Made Fun with GIFs and Emojis"
What do you like best about Nectar?

I like the ability to personalize the message by adding gifs and having emoji reactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nectar?

There really is not much that sticks out to me as negative. I suppose that when you want to look back at your personal given and received shoutouts on your profile the page is not full size Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless, User-Friendly Platform with Fun Personalization Options"
What do you like best about Nectar?

This platform is easy to use! I have never encountered any errors or issues - the technology always works seamlessly. There is a great selection of GIFs and emojis available, which makes it fun to add extra flair to shoutouts. The platform's organization is excellent; I have never had any difficulty finding information or features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nectar?

When selecting a name with the @ feature, the results do not always appear promptly or accurately. For instance, if I am searching for John Doe, I might need to type out @johndo before the name appears in the search results. On other occasions, even after entering that many letters, the name might still not show up, and I have to try searching with just @joh instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Appreciation and Fun Recognition with Stellar Support"
What do you like best about Nectar?

I like how easy it is just to send a quick thank you or show my appreciation to a coworker. Its fun to include the gifs to add a little extra pizazz! I like that a notification is sent both via Teams and our email letting us know we have received a shoutout, and especially the email reminder before the months end so we don't forget to send our shout outs. Additionally, i do like that we are able to personalize our shoutouts and don't have to stick with just the company hashtags.

I had one issue with trying to cash out Nectars before the holidays last year, but the support team was quick and thorough and very helpful in helping me track down the issue and cash in my points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nectar?

If there is a downside, and this might be operator error, but I wish there was a way to look back through our own nectar shoutouts we've received, just if we need a little pick-me-up someday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Recognition and Reward System with Great Redemption Options"
What do you like best about Nectar?

I like being able to shout out a recognition and give a gift of points. I also have a wide range of items available to redeem. It's easy to use with Teams and easy to learn how to use it. The interactive challenges that companies can do also make it fun. I log in daily. I also like how it integrates with our survey and allows customers to provide an incentive they would like to recognize us with if they feel like we went above and beyond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nectar?

There's not anything I dislike, it would be cool to set up my personal email to receive my redemption rewards instead of my work email but it's not a big deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The rewards system is also a great feature—earning points that can be redeemed for actual gift cards and perks helps motivate people and makes the appreciation feel authentic.
