What do you like best about NAS4Free?

NAS4Free (XigmaNAS) is a lightweight and extremely stable FreeBSD-based NAS with native ZFS support. It offers full snapshots, replication, and SMB/NFS/iSCSI sharing with no licensing limits or bloat, and runs reliably for years even on older hardware. What do you dislike about NAS4Free?

The web interface feels outdated and unintuitive compared to modern NAS systems, the plugin and app ecosystem is very limited, and there is no built-in support for Docker or virtualization. NAS4Free solves the problem of reliable, enterprise-grade data storage without high costs or vendor lock-in.
