What I like most about Nano Banana 2 is its impressive speed-to-quality ratio. It produces highly detailed, photorealistic images in just a few seconds, which has significantly accelerated my creative workflow. I also appreciate how reliably it renders clear, legible text within images—something other AI models often struggle with. On top of that, its ability to maintain character and object consistency across multiple generations makes it much easier to build cohesive assets without constant trial and error. While it’s generally very accurate, the biggest drawback is that it can occasionally hallucinate and miss the mark entirely. At times it will invent an element out of nowhere that doesn’t follow my prompt, or it will produce something completely irrelevant for no clear reason. That unpredictability becomes a real problem when I’m on a tight deadline and need a very specific result, because it forces me to waste time rerolling outputs or repeatedly tweaking my inputs just to get it back on track.
