"Moodle: A Flexible, Budget-Friendly Open-Source LMS for Growing Learning Businesses"
4/5
What do you like best about Moodle?

Moodle is a very helpful LMS tool for many businesses and services that want to set up their own learning platform. The best thing is that it’s an open-source LMS model, which is especially helpful for small businesses that are in a growth stage but working with a tight budget.

For example, I have a client who is a well-known teacher in our local area, but he had limited time and space. We helped him build a learning platform where he can upload lectures and assignments, monitor student progress, and manage the course more smoothly. Earlier, he used to handle everything through a WhatsApp group, and new students didn’t get a structured solution.

Another great part is that it’s not just for video courses. It also includes monitoring, attendance, MCQ tests, and assignment options. It’s also good that it has discussion forums, so it’s not only one-way communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Moodle?

Its user interface is not very attractive. Although it has many options, it could be better.

My client complain that students have difficulty navigating through the course, and I keep getting messages like, “Sir, where can I find this PDF, that video,” etc.

The onboarding process is complicated for new users who are not technically sound.

Sometimes it also has connectivity issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
