"Time-Saver for SDRs, Needs Better Filtering Accuracy"
4/5
What do you like best about Mononio AI?

I like Mononio AI's agent‑powered continuous account monitoring, which fits really well with my day‑to‑day work as an SDR at Alpine IT Solutions GmbH, our 51‑200‑person Berlin IT‑services firm focused on cloud migration projects. Before we adopted this tool, we relied on B2Brain plus lots of manual research. I used to burn 5‑7 hours every week manually checking LinkedIn, company press releases and industry blogs just hunting for buying triggers. I still recall a bad situation last quarter, when I manually tracked a list of manufacturing targets and missed multiple newly‑hired CTO announcements. A competing IT services company reached those accounts first and locked in discovery meetings, and we lost those solid opportunities completely. That experience showed me how easy it is to fall behind with purely manual tracking. This continuous background monitoring becomes really helpful during our heavy prospecting pushes. Once I set up our ideal customer profile, the AI automatically surfaces events including new tech leadership hires, business expansion news and fresh investment rounds. It does not draft my cold outreach emails for me, and I actually appreciate that; I want every message to sound genuine and tailored for each DACH‑region mid‑size business. I still follow our regular workflow: enrich decision‑maker contacts through LIX It!, clean exported CSV files for German special characters, and manually import qualified prospects into Zendesk Sell. All target‑account spreadsheets and call notes get saved on Nextcloud. We run sales team syncs over Whereby and send short intent‑check surveys to warm prospects via LimeSurvey. Even with those manual steps, Mononio AI cuts down my repetitive research burden significantly. It lets me spot promising accounts early and gives me a better shot at connecting with leads before our competitors move in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mononio AI?

There are several noticeable pain points with Mononio AI that create extra manual labour for me in my SDR role at Alpine IT Solutions GmbH. The AI agent’s filtering logic produces a lot of noise; it frequently picks up general business announcements that have nothing to do with IT infrastructure upgrades or cloud‑migration needs. Not long ago I configured monitoring for mid‑sized DACH manufacturing firms. The tool flagged dozens of expansion announcements, but most of those companies were only opening new physical store locations and held zero plans for IT modernization. I spent nearly three hours sorting through those irrelevant accounts, time I should have spent writing cold emails and booking calls. There are no fine‑tune controls inside the settings to bring down this high false‑positive rate. CSV export problems with German special characters are another recurring headache. Company names containing ä, ö, ü often get mangled during export. I once imported an uncleaned CSV batch into Zendesk Sell without doing proper spot‑checks. Dozens of prospect records ended up with garbled business names, and I had to go through and fix every single entry one by one. On top of that, there is no native integration for Zendesk Sell. Every qualified prospect list requires full manual export‑and‑import work, which turns into a real nuisance during our busiest prospecting cycles. Outside Mononio AI, I enrich contact information using LIX It!, store all prospect‑related documentation on Nextcloud, hold internal sales meetings over Whereby, and run quick prospect intent surveys through LimeSurvey. These shortcomings add unnecessary cleanup and qualification work and slow down my outreach output when our quarterly targets ramp up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
