## monday dev Reviews
 ### 1. All-in-One DevOps Management Made Effortless in one platform (github<>jenkins<>dockers<>monday.com)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aniket K. | monday.com Full stack developer and IC, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about monday dev?**

The best thing about monday dev is how easy it is to bring all development work into one place. I like that I can connect GitHub, track pull requests, manage sprints, and handle bugs from the same board. The interface is simple, and the automation saves time for repeat work. Even though DevOps is not a built-in feature, the integrations with Jenkins and Docker make it possible to track CI/CD updates directly on the board. GitHub very easy to implement just few click, with bug tracking backlogs etc. Everyday we as team used the monday dev to track who is working on what track with backlogs sprints in one baords.

**What do you dislike about monday dev?**

At times, the boards can become sluggish when there are a large number of items or frequent updates. For more advanced DevOps automation, I still find it necessary to build custom workflows or rely on additional tools. While the pull request and ticket views are useful, there is definitely room to enhance the level of detail available in the DevOps dashboards. There are also some API limitations, such as the inability to manage email activity through the API, as this feature is not currently documented, though custom activity is available. I would like to see the API expanded to support more features, such as multi-level column reading for formulas and better access to email activity.

**What problems is monday dev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

monday dev helps me manage daily development and support tasks without switching between tools. I use it for sprint planning, backlog tracking, bug tracking, and customer support tickets. With the GitHub integration, I can link PRs to tasks, review status, and check deployment progress. It reduces confusion in communication, keeps the team aligned, and gives clear visibility of work in progress. Even though DevOps is not fully native, the integrations allow me to manage CI/CD work in one place instead of juggling different platforms.

 ### 2. All-in-One Dev Workspace That Streamlines Collaboration and Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harrison T. | Web Designer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about monday dev?**

What stands out most about monday dev is how seamlessly it brings every stage of the development lifecycle into one visual workspace. I love that I can manage product roadmaps, sprint planning, bug tracking, and release workflows all in one place — without needing to jump between multiple tools.

The customizable boards and automation recipes make it easy to tailor processes to our team’s workflow, whether it’s managing agile sprints or tracking feature requests. The real-time updates and integrations with GitHub, Jira, Slack, and other dev tools help everyone stay aligned, reduce manual updates, and keep projects moving efficiently.

Overall, it combines the flexibility of monday.com with the structure and visibility that modern dev teams need.

**What do you dislike about monday dev?**

While monday dev is a powerful and flexible platform, there’s a bit of a learning curve at the start — especially when setting up more advanced automations or complex board structures. Some integrations, like Git or Jira syncs, can take extra configuration to get working exactly as expected.

I’ve also noticed that with large teams or heavy boards, performance can occasionally slow down, and the pricing tiers can add up quickly as you scale.

That said, once everything is configured, the benefits far outweigh these small drawbacks — the visibility, collaboration, and workflow clarity it provides make it worth the initial setup effort.

**What problems is monday dev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a web design business, monday dev helps us keep every project, task, and client deliverable completely organized from concept to launch. Before using it, we relied on scattered tools and long email threads, which made it easy for things to slip through the cracks — especially when juggling multiple client websites at different stages.

With monday dev, we’ve centralised everything — design requests, feedback, content deadlines, and developer handoffs — into one visual dashboard. It’s eliminated confusion about project status, improved accountability across the team, and made our workflow far more efficient.

 ### 3. Great tool to keep projects on track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raúl N. | Project management, Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about monday dev?**

What I like best about monday dev is how easy it makes it to keep everything organized and visible for the whole team. You can track progress, assign tasks, and see updates in real time without having to chase people for info. It just keeps projects moving smoothly and helps everyone stay on the same page.

**What do you dislike about monday dev?**

I think sometimes monday dev can feel a bit slow or confusing when you’re trying to find specific settings or features. There’s so many options that it takes a bit to get used to it, and some things could be more intuitive

**What problems is monday dev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

monday dev helps us bring together the design, development, project management, and business analysis teams so we can all interact in the same space and work on the same project. It makes it easier to keep track of progress, updates, and priorities without losing communication between areas.

 ### 4. Essential Work OS for Dev Teams—Seamlessly Connects Code and Business Goals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giuseppe A. | IT Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about monday dev?**

Consider monday dev as a tailored adaptation of the original monday.com platform, crafted with the software development lifecycle in mind. It serves as a "Work OS" for engineering teams, connecting technical activities such as coding, bug tracking, and sprint planning with broader business objectives.

**What do you dislike about monday dev?**

I appreciate the pricing structure and how well it integrates with other Monday modules.

**What problems is monday dev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Here are a few concise statements that highlight what monday dev offers: It links code directly to strategy. Automations eliminate tedious manual admin tasks. Visual boards provide immediate clarity on progress. AI takes care of daily standup summaries. It helps close the gap between developers and business teams. Sprint planning is now faster and guided by data. With this platform, you can replace five separate tools with just one.

 ### 5. Streamlines Team Sprints with Ease

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacky B.

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about monday dev?**

I use monday dev at work to structure our sprints, projects, and tasks, and I find it incredibly beneficial for providing a clear and comprehensive overview of our work. This overview is pivotal as it ensures transparency within our team; everyone understands what their colleagues are working on, which enhances our efficiency and coordination. I particularly appreciate the product's ease of use, as it simplifies our processes. Additionally, the ability to create tasks, utilize automation, and distribute work among team members stands out as highly valuable, allowing us to streamline operations and work collaboratively with ease.

**What do you dislike about monday dev?**

I find that some tasks can't be completed until others are finished, and this limitation reduces the flexibility in task dependency management. It would be beneficial to have more advanced functionalities to manage these task sequences effectively.

**What problems is monday dev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Monday Dev to define sprints, projects, and tasks, providing a nice overview that keeps the team aligned on who’s working on what, making it easy to manage and split tasks with automations.

 ### 6. Seamless Sprint Management with Perfect Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jens M. | Content Marketeer | AI & Automations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about monday dev?**

I really appreciate monday dev as it provides an excellent overview of tasks and planning, which is crucial for managing our sprints effectively. The ability to prioritize tasks and connect them with epics has truly enhanced how we monitor progress. One of the standout features for me is the ability to start sprints, which offers a structured approach to our work. Additionally, it's incredibly beneficial to have monday dev connect with other boards from different workspaces, especially since we also use Monday Work Management. This integration would not have been possible without monday dev. The initial setup was straightforward, particularly because we were already familiar with Monday Work Management and the use of templates further simplified the process. Overall, my experience with monday dev has been extremely positive, and I find it to be a valuable tool in our work processes.

**What do you dislike about monday dev?**

-

**What problems is monday dev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use monday dev for better task overview and planning, prioritizing tasks, and connecting them with epics. It greatly enhances our ability to monitor progress and integrates well with our other workspaces.

 ### 7. monday dev: Excellent for Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about monday dev?**

What I really appreciate about Monday dev is that it feels like a blend of Google Docs with a wide array of project management and tracking tools. Its collaborative features are especially valuable for managers and anyone involved in cross-functional work. Using it has taught me a great deal about the fundamentals of project management, making it a tool I truly value.

**What do you dislike about monday dev?**

The integrations with other apps and AI tools still need improvement. Although these features are promoted within the app, I haven't found them to be practical in real-world use. Another drawback, which many people can probably relate to in today's digital environment, is the inconvenience of switching between my main app, Slack, and Monday. Since Slack now offers many of the same features as Monday.com, such as boards and lists, I tend to use Slack's versions just to avoid the hassle of moving between different apps.

**What problems is monday dev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management and consolidating multiple resources into a unified place. It also allows for significantly easier version control and collaboration than traditional tools, such as Microsoft Word.

 ### 8. Powerful once you get past the setup curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maysa R. | Customer Success Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about monday dev?**

What I like most about monday dev is how it combines agile project management with real-time visibility into the team’s progress. The integration with GitHub and the engineering performance dashboard make it incredibly easy to track velocity, spot bottlenecks, and keep everyone aligned. It turns complex development cycles into clear, actionable insights.

**What do you dislike about monday dev?**

What I dislike about monday dev is that the setup and customization process can feel overwhelming at first. There are many automations and views to configure, and it takes some time before everything flows smoothly. Once the initial learning curve is over, though, it becomes much easier to manage.

**What problems is monday dev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Scalya Growth, monday dev has been a game-changer in aligning our marketing, product, and tech teams. We use it to manage client projects, track development sprints, and connect tasks directly to campaign deliverables. It solved our biggest problem: lack of visibility between departments. Now, everyone works from the same source of truth, and we can clearly see what’s moving, what’s blocked, and what’s generating results. This clarity has improved communication, accountability, and overall delivery speed for our clients.

 ### 9. Streamlines Sprint Organization with Seamless GitHub Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about monday dev?**

I like that it integrates with GitHub. When we submit a pull request (PR), the PR gets added to the ticket automatically and gets marked for review. Once the PR gets merged, monday dev automatically completes the ticket. It's also helped with organizing sprints and streamlining tasks.

**What do you dislike about monday dev?**

It can lag quite a bit sometimes when we're pulling up our boards. The information displayed can be inconsistent. For instance, when I access the My Work view while in monday dev, tasks only show updates and no other info, but if I hit refresh, it'll take me to monday work management and I can see the complete info for each task. Dates for tasks can also change spontaneously, so I have to refresh for the dates to be corrected.

**What problems is monday dev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team used to manually add PRs to tickets and do a lot of manual ticket management, but with monday dev it's a bit easier because it automates those steps for us. Our workflow is also more organized now because we're able to use monday dev to implement sprints.

 ### 10. Monday, an essential task management tool for my day-to-day!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julio C. | Engenheiro de Dados - Especialista, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about monday dev?**

I really like it because it is a tool that integrates everything I need to manage my tasks, my documents, and my deliveries during my workday.

**What do you dislike about monday dev?**

It has improved a lot, but we still have problems with support from the Monday team. For example, we have API integration with Power BI, and many of the updates that come in affect our semantic model, and we never get a solution from the Monday team. We always have to look for a solution in the community. As I am a Data Engineer, this is the point I see as most crucial and disruptive.

**What problems is monday dev solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The organization of the creation of our data products is fully managed via Monday. This organization of teams, tasks, and documents effectively guides the team and gives agility to the construction of our solutions. Today, Monday solves the problem of organization and visualization of team activities, which is common in many companies; the lack of workload visibility hinders the target and planning of teams, and at this point, Monday helps a lot.
