"Miter Simplified Multi-State Payroll and Tax Compliance for Our Team"

What do you like best about Miter?

Miter has hugely simplified our payroll process. We have employees from several different states that travel to multiple job sites. We currently work in a multitude of states and also have the option to travel for storm restoration work. Miter pays each state, local and municipal tax for us. Miter plays the federal and unemployment taxes which is a great comfort knowing they take great care in handling the taxes in a timely and efficient manner. They are able to handle multiple states where the previous software could not handle our company's needs. I also appreciate the ease of gathering timesheets and the ease of clckoing in and out for the employees. Miter also handles remitting child support payments to multiple states and remitting insurance premiums. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miter?

Miter can be confusing when assigning workplaces to the employees. We are still working out some minor issues. The enrolling in benefits might need some updating. The off cycle pay schedule also needs to allow for a same day pay cycle without using an outside source. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miter solving and how is that benefiting you?

The simplified clocking in procedure for our employees has helped cut down the need to adjust overpayment and underpayment. It also allows our employees that are more fluent in Spanish to utilize the multiple language feature. Allows them more ease in using the system. I love the multiple reports at my fingertips, no more using several programs to pull my data to submit reports. I used to utilize Aspire, QuickBooks and excel to compile a summary to enter the data into QuickBooks to write the paychecks. I often worked on Saturday and Sunday to have a summary ready for Monday.
