What do you like best about Minitab Statistical Software?

What I value most about Minitab is its intuitive Design of Experiments (DOE) module, which makes creating and analyzing complex multi-variable factorial designs incredibly straightforward. The wizard for setting up factors and runs saves hours of initial planning compared to manual coding. Once the experimental data is collected, the automated analysis tools—like the ANOVA outputs, main effects plots, and Pareto charts—make identifying significant process parameters highly efficient. The software provides great performance with fast processing times even when handling larger datasets, and the user interface strikes a great balance between rigorous statistical power and clean accessibility. What do you dislike about Minitab Statistical Software?

While the core features are excellent, the licensing costs can be quite steep for individual researchers, which can impact the overall ROI if not backed by a large institution. Additionally, the visual styling of the generated plots and graphs can feel a bit dated compared to modern data visualization tools. This means it sometimes requires extra manual tweaking or exporting data to external programs to get the charts looking completely polished and publication-ready for high-impact technical reports.
