"Solid tool for product roadmaps with a few workflow rough edges"

5/5

What do you like best about Mindomo?

As a product manager, I use Mindomo for roadmap planning and specification work. The timeline layout gives me a clean horizontal view of quarters and initiatives, and I can flip the same data to an organigram to show team ownership or to a Gantt chart when it's time to commit to specific dates. Boundaries with labels let me group initiatives by theme visually, and summary nodes are useful for rolling up outcomes. The multi-hyperlink support on topics is great for linking specs, Figma files, and Jira epics off a single roadmap item. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mindomo?

A couple of workflow annoyances. First, when I flip a big roadmap between views (mind map → timeline → Gantt), the layout occasionally needs a manual "auto balance" to look clean again. Second, there's no native two-way sync with Jira. I have to rely on hyperlinks. For a product-focused workflow, a Jira integration would be a killer addition. Also, the copy-paste of a branch works well within a map, but pasting between two open maps in different tabs is a little clunky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mindomo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Roadmap communication. Engineers, designers, and executives all see different views of the same underlying plan, so I'm not maintaining three different documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
