"MindManager for Mind Mapping"
What do you like best about MindManager?

MindManager doesn't interfere with the design process. It enables me to update current maps' layouts quickly and to have multiple formats for different levels of the map. MindManager allows me to interact with teams on fast-shifting ideas. We can swiftly rearrange the map without causing it to break. Changing any map element's colours, shapes, and font takes only a few clicks and can be easily transferred to other areas of the map using the format painter. What do you dislike about MindManager?

I'm not too fond of the company's pricing strategy; firstly, I find it to be a little expensive, and the second issue is the one-time yearly payment makes you bound to use it for a year. I would prefer having a subscription model as it's easier and can be cancelled anytime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A single view that connects both data and thinking"
What do you like best about MindManager?

MindManager helps to keep everything in one clear, interactive view. We use it to organize ideas, data, and documents in a single visual map. Linking to files, URLs, or images is seamless, and importing from word is easy. The built-in templates fit well with tasks like planning, expense tracking, and execution timelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MindManager?

I've tried to find issues, but honestly, MindManager has been dependable across all our use cases. Even for features that seem complex at first, the built-in help resources make things easier to grasp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visualise and share your brainstorming sessions"
What do you like best about MindManager?

There have been a number of updates to the system over time that have moved it to the cloud and added extra functionality around shareing and collaboration with a single document. They can also do more than just traditional mindmpas now which means the system is not as narrow in focus as it was. But at it's base level it's an excellent way to visualise and capture discussions and brainstorming. It's very easy to use and there is no implementation required so you just get a licence and away you go. It can be used in every meeting or ideation session where these kind of abstract ideas linked together need to be captured . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MindManager?

It is still somewhat of a luxury item. It is doing something that can be achieved with pen and paper and while it is not very expensive it could still be out of reach finacially for some smaller companies. The ability to have multiple people work on the same document is limited to a subscription model which is more expensive than the stand alone application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of my old tools I use till date for brainstorming"
What do you like best about MindManager?

I use mind manager atleast once in a week mostly for building mind maps. It seems very user-friendly and conducive to ideation. I personally leverage the ability to toggle between map, org chart, flowchart, and other visualizations gives users options to think and present ideas differently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MindManager?

Only one thing I dislike is the pricing seems quite high, especially for smaller teams and individuals. More affordable pricing tiers could help make it accessible to a wider range of users. Also, there are competitors who offer this features for free and less expensive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Versatile and User-Friendly Mind Mapping and Project Management Tool"
What do you like best about MindManager?

I really enjoyed using MindManager for a few months. The mind mapping and project management tool had an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, and it had a wide range of features that made it very versatile. My favorite feature was the ability to create visually appealing mind maps that helped me brainstorm and organize my ideas. I also found the tool to be great for creating project plans and timelines, as it allowed me to easily see all of the tasks and milestones in a given project. Another bonus was that MindManager integrated seamlessly with other software, such as Microsoft Office and Google Drive, which made it easy to collaborate with team members and share project updates. Overall, I found MindManager to be an invaluable tool for improving my productivity and organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MindManager?

As a consumer, I found MindManager to be a useful tool for mind mapping and project management. However, there are a few potential drawbacks to using the tool that I have noticed.

One concern is the cost of the tool, as it is a paid software. This may be a barrier for some users or organizations on a tight budget. Additionally, the tool has a lot of features and capabilities, which can make it overwhelming for some users to learn and navigate. This may require a learning curve or some time investment to become proficient with the tool.

Another potential issue is compatibility, as MindManager is primarily designed for use on Windows computers. This may be problematic for users on other platforms (such as Mac or Linux) who may have difficulty accessing all of the tool's features. Additionally, the number of third-party integrations is somewhat limited compared to some other project management tools, which could be a drawback for users who rely heavily on integration with other software.

Overall, while these are minor considerations, they are worth noting for consumers who are considering using MindManager. Despite these potential drawbacks, the tool has proven to be a useful resource for mind mapping and project management for many users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
