What do you like best about MindManager?

I like that I can do a very simple diagram (map) when I just need a quick visualization or I can scale up to very detailed flows with notes, tags, resources etc. if that's what the task demands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MindManager?

I've used Visio, AutoCAD, and PowerPoint in the past for different types of diagrams. One thing I feel is missing in MindManager that would let me forget about those other applications is the ability to position objects absolutely in a defined space and know that they won't move. I find that helpful in creating "static" material for print or for slide-type presentations. This is a minor annoyance, but does mean that those other tools stay in my arsenal. MindManager has a new slide deck template, but it's not quite mature enough for my liking yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering MindManager:

Allow yourself to find new ways of using the software. You probably came to look at this for a very specific task, but it's quite flexible and can be great for note-taking, resource management, and so much more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MindManager solving and how is that benefiting you?

MindManager lets me convey ideas outside the boring confines of rectangular tables and paragraphs. I find that I enjoy using this more than most business applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
