What do you like best about Mindee?

I like the accuracy of the data extraction and how easy it is to customize with the data schema. I can define exactly what fields I want from invoices, like supplier details, total taxes and line items, and it pulls them reliably. The AI assistant is also surprisingly helpful for guiding me when setting up things up. It just works well for invoice processing without needing super advanced coding skills. What do you dislike about Mindee?

The initial setup and learning curve can take some time, especially when defining custom schemas for our specific document types. Sometimes the accuracy drops on poor quality scans or very messy layouts, so we still need to do a quick manual check. Also, it relies on a good internet connection, which is expected for an API tool, but it can be annoying during slow periods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mindee solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the big headache of manual data entry from invoices, receipts, and other documents. Before Mindee, our team was spending hours typing information into spreadsheets, double checking numbers and dealing with errors that messed up our records.

Now we upload documents and get structured data back quickly. It’s benefiting us by speeding up invoice processing, reducing human errors and freeing up time for more important work. The custom Data schema and AI assistant make it flexible for our needs, and overall we’ve cut down on administrative time significantly while improving data accuracy for our small team.
