"Impressive Image Quality for Fast, Realistic Design Brainstorming"
5/5
What do you like best about Midjourney?

The best part of Midjourney for me is that I can develop an idea and create a realistic image without having to master professional-level design skills. I can explain what I want and try out various layouts, colors, lighting and styles until I select something that I prefer. I have used it when considering home office designs, desk locations, wall colors, shelving ideas and so on prior to deciding on a design. It's particularly helpful to be able to come up with a few different variations in a short amount of time as it allows me to see some options that I might not have been able to imagine. Impressive image quality and being able to tweak the prompts to get more control over the images. Overall, it helps save time when brainstorming ideas and helps with visual communication. What do you dislike about Midjourney?

My complaints with MidJourney is it still doesn't always follow my prompts, even when I give it a detailed prompt. For instance, the arrangement of furniture, lighting, or colors is not quite up to par—perhaps a little different than I had envisioned—so I have to create a number of different iterations of each before I come up with something I'm pleased with. It can be annoying to edit just a certain part of an image, while leaving other parts untouched. I'd like to be able to edit with more accuracy, and uniformity across generations. The overall image quality is quite good, but the added time required to rectify details may detract from the ease of AI use. The editing would be much more convenient for practical design work if it were easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
