Midas Care Management is a unique combination of high-performing, very secure database and a thorough set of care quality data entry modules. At our hospital, besides Patient and Encounter of course, we use Risk Management and Focus Studies along with a number of interfaced modules, including Surgery, Drug Therapy, and many custom Focus Studies. What impresses us most is the extreme power of the interface processor, as it quickly takes in hundreds of records every minute all day and night. What makes the product so powerful, however, is the ability to connect a wide variety of quality and safety information to so many clinical and demographic attributes for every associated patient Encounter. Finally, and equally valuable, is the on-board reporting engine, ReporTrack, that allows us to build scalable and secure data sources. for any 3rd-party reporting tool in known use, to include Crystal Reports, MS-Access and Excel, and Tableau, to name a few we use here. We use hundreds of Worklists every day to manage the throughput of Patient Safety events, Peer Review concerns, and to manage our regulatory requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We would like to see Midas Care Management evolve more quickly to adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare marketplace. We are concerned that ReporTrack has not changed much at all in over 10 years, during which time we would have expected new features, such as custom-code formula design, Group Headers, custom criteria prompts, and faster overall performance in the report definition feature, among many we need to see.
