"Stable, Built-In Hyper-V with Unlimited VM Rights and Strong Security"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Windows Server 2019 with HyperV?

Hyper-V is included directly inside Windows Server. With a Windows Server Datacenter license, you get unlimited virtual machine rights on that physical server without paying extra licensing fees for third-party virtualization software. The underlying platform delivers solid stability. Virtual machines run smoothly, and features like Dynamic Memory allow the host to adjust RAM allocation automatically based on real-time needs—preventing wasted resources. Security stands out with features like Shielded Virtual Machines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Windows Server 2019 with HyperV?

Clunky management tools managing everything requires jumping between different apps. Windows Admin Center is Microsoft's modern web control panel, but it can feel sluggish compared to dedicated management apps, leaving you flipping back and forth to classic tools like Hyper-V Manager or Failover Cluster Manager for advanced settings. Complex licensing costs. While Hyper-V is free once you buy Windows Server, pricing gets confusing and expensive quickly. You license physical CPU cores, not virtual machines. If you run many VMs on a Standard license, you have to buy extra licenses to stay legal, making it easy to miscalculate costs. Storage Replica and Clustering Friction Setting up high-availability clusters or multi-site replication requires precise network configurations and Active Directory setups. If anything is slightly off, cluster setup throws cryptic errors that are painful to debug. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
