"Microsoft Teams Makes Everyday Team Collaboration Easier"

4/5

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

What I like most about Microsoft Teams is that it keeps our day-to-day communication and meetings in one place. We use chat for quick questions and updates, while channels are useful for keeping conversations related to a project or team together. Sharing files during a conversation is also convenient, and the connection with Outlook and other Microsoft 365 apps makes it easier to move between meetings, documents, and messages. Meetings and screen sharing have generally been reliable for regular team communication. The interface can take some time to get used to, but once the teams and channels are organized, it makes collaboration much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

The main thing I dislike is that Teams can become difficult to navigate when there are a lot of teams, channels, chats, and notifications. It is sometimes harder than expected to find an older conversation or locate a file that was shared some time ago. Notifications can also become distracting when several channels are active at the same time. The core features work well, but I think the navigation and organization could be simpler for people who are managing a large number of conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?

Microsoft Teams helps us keep conversations, meetings, files, and team coordination together instead of having them spread across different places. This makes it easier to follow ongoing work and quickly communicate with other team members. The Outlook and Microsoft 365 integration is particularly useful because meetings and shared documents fit into the same workflow. From a value perspective, having communication and collaboration features together is helpful when the organization is already using Microsoft 365, rather than having to manage several separate tools for basic team communication. Setup is relatively straightforward for users who are already familiar with Microsoft products, although organizing teams, channels, and permissions properly takes some initial effort. Overall, it reduces some of the back-and-forth involved in everyday collaboration and makes it easier to keep work-related information in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
