What do you like best about Microsoft Fabric?

What I like best about Microsoft Fabric is that everything is available in one platform. We can use Data Factory, Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Power BI, and other services without depending on too many different tools.

I also like OneLake and the Lakehouse concept, because it makes the data management much easier. The integration with Power BI and Direct Lake is also very useful, as we can work with the data and build reports more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Fabric?

One thing I dislike about Microsoft Fabric is that sometimes the platform is still changing and some features are not fully stable. We may face issues with performance, capacity, or some features not working as expected.

Also, troubleshooting some Fabric issues is not very straightforward, especially when we are working with different workloads like Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines and Power BI. Sometimes it takes more time to identify the actual root cause. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?

Microsoft Fabric is helping us to reduce the dependency on multiple data tools and bring everything into one platform. Earlier, we had different tools for data ingestion, data engineering, data warehouse and reporting, which made the overall process more complex.

With Fabric, we can manage these activities in one place using OneLake, Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse and Power BI. It also makes the data flow easier to manage and helps us develop solutions faster. Overall, it reduces the complexity and makes it easier for our team to work on end-to-end data projects.
